Give Brad a call, let him know he works for us

To the editor:

Our country is seeing unprecedented and unchecked changes to our government at the presidential level of government that could put our entire Democracy in Peril.

I have written our First Congressional District Representative, Brad Finstad many times recently in that regard and suggesting that he have a Town Hall Meeting to allow people to ask questions and express their concerns.

I get Brad’s “In the Field” weekly newsletter (I applaud him for having a weekly newsletter); however, “In the World According to Brad”, per his last newsletter, he doesn’t even mention any of the chaos over the past three weeks — that life is going on as if Trump and Musk do not even exist.

I’m guessing that most people in Southern Minnesota do have some very legitimate concerns as to what is transpiring — not unlike to the rest of the nation — where a recent Democratic Congressman’s internet Town Hall meeting had over 5,000 participants.

Call, write, or email your Congressman and demand that he takes the time, for you, the people that voted either for or against him as to what is happening in Washington.

Unfortunately, it appears that Brad may “have his head in the sand” as to the reality of what is Actually Happening … as it’s Definitely not all sunshine and roses out there.

Remind him that he works for us — all of us — not for himself or just for a particular party. Call and demand that he does the job that you hired him to do.
