To the editor:

President Trump has been in office only a couple of months; but, he has been busy! 

He continues voicing his plan to take over Greenland…never admitting that he’s eying their valuable minerals; not really thinking about security (we already have a military base there).

It seems he would also like to dismantle the Smithsonian and the reminders of our not so pleasant history. It is that history that shaped us, changed us, helped us grow and become the country we are! It shouldn’t be swept away.

He also has the misguided idea that the Executive Branch…President, has more power than the Legislative and Judicial. Wrong! They were established to be equal.

President Trump is also eroding free speech and information, having an equal voice, and opportunity. He is fomenting distrust towards foreigners, new immigrants, and our fellow Americans who seem to disagree with him.

And, lastly, our formerly strong allies around the world are starting to question our reliability, our motives… Who will be there for us? Think about it….
