LAMBERTON — Springfield rolled Red Rock Central 94-49 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Thursday.
Brecken Heiling led the Tigers with 24 points, while Bryan Buerkle had 20 points and nine rebounds. Parker Kuehn added 13 points and five rebounds for Springfield.
Springfield (6-1) hosts Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Friday.
Madelia 93, HLO/F 30
MADELIA — Madelia cruised by Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda 93-30 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Thursday.
Hayden Jones led the Blackhawks with 27 points, while Josiah DeMaris had 20 points. Kaydon Firchau added 18 points for Madelia. Madelia (7-0) hosts Edgerton on Monday.
Wabasso 83, Minneota 82
WABASSO — Wabasso edged by Minneota 83-82 in a nonconference boys basketball game on Thursday.
Tavyn Larson and Brayden Guetter each had 19 points for Wabasso, while Calvin Hanna had 12 points.
Wabasso (6-3) hosts Lester Prairie on Friday.

WORHTINGTON — Worthington topped New Ulm 138.325-130.325 in a Big South Conference prep gymnastics meet on Thursday.
Josie Sellner led New Ulm with a second-place all-around finish, scoring a 33.75. Josie Sellner placed third on bars (8.425) and on the floor (9.05). Sophia Berger took fourth in all around (33.4), taking first on beam (8.8).
New Ulm hosts Blue Earth Area on Thursday.
PREP WRESTLING
Springfield goes 0-3 in ACGC quad
ATWATER — Springfield took losses to Windom/Mountain Lake, Spectrum and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in a prep wrestling triangular on Thursday.
Cole Palow and Rylee Haala each picked up two wins in the meet for Springfield, while Carlos Rangel, Nathan Groebner, Stan Heiling and Hank Heiling each had a win.
