LESTER PRAIRIE — Cole Jacobson led Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop past Lester Prairie on Saturday in a Tomahawk Division boys basketball game.

Jacobson scored a game-high 39 points in the win, while Easton Taylor added 9 points and Clayton Karg chipped in 6 points.

Devin Bahr scored 33 points to lead Lester Prairie.

GFW (9-17) awaits Section 2A playoff seedings, which will be released Tuesday.

Sibley East 48

MAPLE RIVER — Maple River defeated SIbley East 64-48 on Friday night in a nonconference boys basketball game.

Quintin DeVlaeminck led the way for Sibley East with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals, while Ezra Weber and Will Feterl each had 8 points. Evan Pautsch added 7 points and eight rebounds, while Riley Bussler had seven rebounds.

Sibley East hosts Nicollet on Tuesday.
