ST. PETER — After Section 2AAA originally announced the girls basketball section semifinals would move to Marshall on Saturday night, the decision to move the games back to Gustavus Adolphus College was determined Friday morning.

Due to the Gustavus men’s basketball team losing Thursday night, the semifinals games, featuring No. 2-seeded New Ulm and No. 3-seeded St. Peter, will take place Saturday night at Gustavus. The top-seeded Marshall vs. No. 4 Mankato West game will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday prior to the New Ulm game.

The winners of the semifinals games will then play in the championship, which has been moved to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gustavus.
