JANESVILLE — A tough second half doomed Sibley East Tuesday night as Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton ran away with a 67-38 win in the first round of the Section 2AA boys basketball playoffs.

The Wolverines trailed 27-24 at halftime but the Bulldogs rolled in the second half.

Riley Bussler led the Wolverines in the loss with 10 points and six rebounds and three steals, while Quintin DeVlaeminck had 10 points and five rebounds, Evan Pautsch had 7 points, six rebounds, three assists and four steals and Blake Kruger had 6 points.

Sibley East finished the season 8-18.
