St. Mary’s gets state seed

SLEEPY EYE — The Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Knights have found out their Class A State Girls Basketball Tournament seeding Saturday.

The Knights were seeded third in the tourney and will take on the No. 6-seeded Sacred Heart Eagles in the first round at state at 5 p.m. Thursday as Maturi Pavilion. The winner of that game will play the winner of the No. 7 MACCARY-No. 2 Mayer Lutheran game at 2 p.m. Friday in the semifinals at Williams Arena.
