Schueller named Tomahawk Boys Basketball POTY

The Tomahawk Division released its All-Conference Boys Basketball honors on Tuesday, with Cedar Mountain and Springfield both having three players mentioned.

Springfield’s Bryan Buerkle, Brecken Heiling and Brayden Sturm were all selected to the team, with Buerkle as a unanimous selection. Cedar Mountain’s Blake Schueller and Blake Steffl both made the team unanimously, with Schueller being named the Player of the Year, while Zach Sandgren was an Honorable Mention.

Sleepy Eye’s Landon Wendinger was a unanimous selection, and Brayden Heiderschedit also made the team for the Indians. Wabasso’s Brayden Guetter was selected unanimously and Caden Frericks was an Honorable Mention, and Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop’s Cole Jacobson was a unanimously selected, with Easton Taylor being an Honorable Mention. For Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s, George Schwint made the All-Conference team and Adam Steffensmeier and Kessler Severson were both Honorable Mentions.
