MORTON – About 300 people attended the 2024 Arlington Raceway Awards Banquet at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel in Morton, MN. Perfect Attendance awards were given to 58 drivers. Hess Technology sponsor of the go-kart divisions sponsored awards to the top five drivers in all classes. The champions being honored were: Jr. Sportsman was 74 Theo Pessek of Hutchinson, Junior was 00 Brayden Allen of Gaylord and the Stock was 2k Kayla Schauer of Belle Plaine.

The Jerry’s Quality Home Foods Auto Cross Champion was 816 Jake Trebesch from Arlington Mn and the EZ Wash & Storage Truck Cross Champion honored was Aric Rolf from Glencoe, MN.

The Arlington Raceway Scholarship Memorial Committee awarded 5 recipients with scholarships for higher education, they were Taylor Moos from Gaylord, Lauryn Menk from Fairfax, Mackenzie Enter from New Ulm, Hailey Oestreich from Belle Plaine and Liberty Allen from Nicollet Mn. These young ladies each wrote an essay on how their involvement at the Arlington Raceway has impacted their goals for the future.

The Floyd & Margelet Allen Memorial for Family Participation was awarded to the 7L Eric Larson Family of Madison Lake and the prestigious Jeff Rucks Memorial Sportsmanship Award was given to 11 Trent Loverude from Sleepy Eye.

The top ten in each of the following divisions received awards with the champions being: Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby 75c Cory Probst from Brewster , Coors Light IMCA Sport Compact 54 Alan Lahr from Nicollet MN, eXmark Outlaw Hobby 0x Mark Oestreich from Belle Plaine, MN, Arlington State Bank IMCA Northern Sport Modified 9 Matt Looft from Swea City IA, Arlington State Bank IMCA RaceSaver Sprint car 1300 Brett Allen from Gaylord, MN, B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car 99L Matt Looft from Swea City, IA and Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified 11 Trent Loverude from Sleepy Eye MN.

The 2024 banquet is the end of the 2024 season and the beginning of the 2025 season. Test-N-Tune will be held April 26 at the Arlington Raceway. The 2025 season is the 45th consecutive season that the Allen’s have been running the Arlington Raceway. Coors Light IMCA Sport Compacts, Jack Pines Resort IMCA Hobby, Olsen Snowplowing & Lawn Care Outlaw Hobby, Arlington State Bank IMCA Northern Sport Modified, Rice Companies IMCA RaceSaver Sprints, B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car and Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modifieds will be in action on a weekly basis. The EZ Wash & Storage Truck Cross, Jerry’s HQ Foods Auto Cross and four divisions of the Hess Technology Go-Karts will be in action this upcoming season.
